Conservation

In 2026 water supplies are limited and we need everyone’s help to reduce unnecessary water use. Outdoor irrigation is the largest use of water during the summer months, and small changes can make a significant difference. Please monitor your water usage and regularly inspect your irrigation system for leaks, broken sprinkler heads, and overspray onto streets, sidewalks, and driveways. Customers can track their water use through WaterSmart by visiting this link.

Watering Schedule:
  • Even-numbered addresses: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Odd-numbered addresses: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
  • No watering on Sundays to allow wells and storage systems to recover

Additional Conservation Measures:

  • Postpone new landscaping projects whenever possible.
  • Turn irrigation systems off during rainstorms and cool weather.
  • Reduce sprinkler run times and avoid overwatering.
  • Water only as much as needed to maintain healthy landscapes.
  • Ensure landscape contractors are following the required watering schedule and adjusting irrigation timers accordingly.

Water conservation is critical to protecting our community’s water supply. If water levels continue to decline during the summer, additional restrictions may be necessary, including further limits on outdoor irrigation and the possible suspension of all outdoor watering. Taking action now can help avoid more stringent restrictions later.
