PHONE SERVICE INTERRUPTION UPDATE

UPDATE: A week ago, Comcast disconnected our business phone lines….here’s what we know. Two phone numbers associated with a separate entity and complete separate Comcast account for the entity that provides accounting services for Gorgoza Water Co were ported away from Comcast to Vonage. Somehow, Comcast meshed those unrelated numbers with our account. When those numbers were disconnected, Comcast unbelievably took down all of Gorgoza’s phone numbers. We have been working diligently for the past week to get phone service reestablished, but Comcast is a bureaucratic nightmare and the process has been painfully slow. We are hopeful phone service will be reestablished in the next few days. We have already mobilized to switch to a Salt Lake based telecommunications company for our phone system that will eliminate the issues we’ve had with Comcast.
